Garage Gastronomico was born in march 2009 from the idea of a business and marketing student. After years of work with the father as food-stuff agent and long periods spent abroad, start the projects of trying to develop all knowledge in other Countries. Elio Ballario, the father, starts 40 years ago providing tipical Italian fresh pasta, salami, hams and cheese to small dealers till the firsts openings of big supermarkets in Torino; in few years starts to open a big number of super/hypermarkets in town and all over the region, than during the time they get together being chains, so all companies provided in the past, starts, with directly cooperation of Elio Ballario, selling them products in it. Riccardo Ballario starts when was very young working not just following the father but working inside every company too, studying from the deep every aspect of the production, to be a technician in the matter provided. Now Riccardo is working exclusively with the big distribution, IPERCOOP, CARREFOUR, AUCHAN, PAM, of course followed from the milestone as the father. Years of good and profitable cooperation, bring the two people being the Big Distribution Channel Managers for each company developing a substantial turnover.
Interested in foreign markets, Riccardo starts trying
to find foreigners contacts and partners , living for months abroad too,
understanding the markets, people, habits and opportunities. All this
matter become possible related to the strong connection with the
producers, of course developed during years of hard work from Elio
Ballario, all matter bringing to the point that there are so many
possibilities to introduce the best part of the Italian receipts into the
foreign habits. This can be possible related to a good cooperation with
the best partners abroad finding the better way to introduce our items in
the referential market. |
